This green winter - encaustic collage "Across the Fields"
Last year we had snow and very low temperatures at this time of the year. This year's winter is more English: green fields and fertile dark brown, freshly ploughed soil, surrounded by rows of bare oak trees and hedges - this all gives the undulating Norfolk landscape such a harmonic and gentle atmosphere. It feels like spring, walking under glorious sunshine and surreal blue sky.

sue love your collage. i sometimes use encaustic on my collages, or did. havent made any art work for awhile.
thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on the alpacas. i too have some alpaca to knit (beginning knitter) but the wool from local alpacas is very expensive. so i knit some scrarfs from alpaca from Peru. LOL although i did buy one skein of local. wonder what you can make from one skein??
Your fields sound similar to ours on Vancouver Island. We are enjoying mild days with sunshine and mists and fog. Lovely time of the year really, before the cold days set in.
